care and safety

Crimson Candle Co. candles will last

  • Approximately 50 hours per 8 oz. candle

  • Approximately 100 hours per 16 oz. candle

Trim your candle’s wick to ¼” before each burn.

Allow your candle to burn at least one hour for each inch of container’s diameter, or until the melt pool reaches edge. This sets your candle’s “memory” and prevents tunneling. This is VERY important!

Do not burn candle for more than four hours.

Keep your candle away from drafts, children, and animals.

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Discard candle when 1/2” of wax remains in bottom of the jar.

When burned properly, your candle should burn cleanly from edge to edge throughout the life of the candle. There should be little to no wax remaining on sides of the jar. If you are seeing a black, smoky residue, your wick is too long. Extinguish candle, allow wax to cool, then trim wick to 1/4”. It is now safe to relight.
